Buying pre-owned

What people ask about these

What does pre-owned mean here?

A tire with 90 to 99 percent of its tread left. Most of them come off a car that changed wheel size or moved to a different set, so they were fitted and then taken back off with barely any miles on them.

How is pre-owned different from used?

Used covers the whole range, from nearly new down to tires with a season left in them. Pre-owned is the top of that range, separated out so you do not have to read every listing to find it.

How do I know how much tread is left?

It is on the listing. Every tire is measured with a depth gauge before it goes on the site, and the number you see is the number we read off that tire, not a category average.

Are they checked before you sell them?

Yes. Each one is inspected inside and out and leak-tested. Anything that does not pass does not go on the shelf.

Can you fit them for me?

Yes, at the shop on 302 E 1st St in Santa Ana. Fitting is charged separately, so call (714) 780-2425 and we will tell you what it comes to for your car.

Do I have to buy four?

No. These are sold as single tires, which is the point of buying used: you replace what needs replacing. If you want a matched pair or set and do not see one, tell us your size and we will watch for it.

Where are you?

302 E 1st St, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm and Saturday 8:30am to 4pm.
